My Muscle Chef Reviews

Had food poisoning from their beef brisket! Bedridden for 3 days, body aches and pains, diarrhoea and a migraine.
Too scared to go back yo Muscle Chef, will be cancelling and requesting a refund.

Taste is very average. Which I guess is sacrificed to make it healthier than other types of frozen food. Not bad to have on hand for desperate situations but eating this makes me want to just cook fresh food.

Two deliveries were sent on the wrong day, one left at the wrong spot (at the street, not at the door.
Three deliveries contained up to six meals that weren't good to eat anymore up to five days before the expiry dates and had air in between the food and the film that is supposed to provide a vacuum seal.
Ended up with food poisoning and a bacterial infection that required me to spend two nights at hospital and all I received was a refund for the meals ordered and a message saying that this is being looked into but this is not good enough and I am taking legal action into consideration.
The company asked me to provide details in re to my health issues as well as copies of relevant invoices to discuss a potential compensation further but has been irresponsive ever since and not made an attempt to find an acceptable solution, so I am still left with medical bills and salary loss.
Extremely poor performance and certainly not recommended.

I found a FEATHER in one of my meals. Contacted customer service about this and this is what they had to say:
"Whilst we are incredibly apologetic for the inconvenience caused, we would like to clarify that all of our chicken, fish and meats are purchased in bulk from suppliers. We do of course endeavour to ensure that such issues do not occur, however this does appear to be an oversight on their end. "
Why, as a customer, should I care if this was their oversight or that of their supplier?? If their company is providing me the meal, they need to realise that THEY are responsible for what leaves their warehouse and still need to quality check.
This is absolutely immature and no way to run a food business especially during a pandemic where hygiene and safety is important more than ever.

Product kept going off, numerous orders as gave the benefit of the doubt. Would not recommend.

Very tasty food, really convenient if you are strapped for time.

The food is actually so good!! A great variety and the pricing isn’t too bad. Very convenient and finally some healthy low calorie foods that are actually nice and have flavour!!! ????
I have made a weekly delivery and helps so much with the discount they give you!

Bought one of the meal in a petrol station, the price is very cheap and when you eat it you understand why... quality of the ingredients is very poor, I would prefer pay more but eat real food! much better meals out there!!
